1. Using Curatorial

Curatorial is a research and exhibition management platform for curators, scholars, and cultural institutions. You are responsible for the content you upload and for keeping your account credentials secure. You agree not to misuse the service or attempt to access data that is not yours.

2. AI-Assisted Features

Curatorial uses AI assistants (including Anthropic's Claude models) across the platform and its messaging channels. You are interacting with AI, and its output may be inaccurate or incomplete — always verify important information. AI features are tools to assist your work, not a substitute for professional judgement.

3. Data Processing

We process your data as described in our Privacy Policy. Some processing is performed by sub-processors (for AI inference, hosting, payments, and analytics). Personal data of EU users is processed consistent with the GDPR.

4. Billing & Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Payments are handled by our payment processor (Stripe); we do not store your full card details. You can manage or cancel your subscription from your account settings.

5. Your Data Rights

You can export your personal data (Art. 15) or request erasure of your account and data (Art. 17) at any time from Settings → Privacy. Erasure removes your data from our primary stores, file storage, and cancels any active subscription.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email, and the effective date above will be updated.
